WHO ARE THE EDUCATIONAL EXPERTS AND THEORISTS?

College professor Noel Ignatiev, who has issued a call to abolish the white race, is one among a long list of anti-American professors who prepare college students to become teachers. The number of anti-American educators and theorists who prepare new teachers for the classroom and influence our children has increased since William Buckley Jr., wrote God and Man at Yale to warn the public about these philosophical agendas that have changed the purpose of our educational system.

Many are concerned that anti-American philosophy is being represented in the new standards for social studies curricula and is prevalent in textbooks used in schools across the U.S. Who are these people who are influencing our teachers and our students?

Noel Ignatiev is the son of Jewish immigrants from Russia. Noel was raised in Philadelphia where he dropped out of the University of Pennsylvania after three years. Despite organizing Marxist discussion groups, being arrested on charges of throwing paint bombs, and lacking credentials, Harvard accepted him into the Graduate School of Education. He became a Harvard faculty member, worked toward a doctorate in U.S. History, joined the Communist Party USA under the name of Noel Ignatin, formed the Provisional Organizing Committee to Reconstitute the Marxist-Leninist Communist Party (POC), and then became involved in Students for a Democratic Society.  He became part of the Third-worldist and Maoist New Communist Movement and formed the group Sojourner Truth Organization before becoming a teacher at the Massachusetts College of Art. He is the co-founder and co-editor of the Journal Race Traitor which displays the motto, “treason to whiteness is loyalty to humanity.”

Another is Howard Zinn (August 24, 1922 – January 27, 2010), a progressive American historian, academic, author, playwright, and social activist.  During his tenure as a political science professor at Boston University, he wrote his best-selling and influential A People’s History of the United States. The textbook depicts the struggles of Native Americans, slaves, women, and African-Americans against their oppressors, the American colonists.  His goal is to “Rewrite history books to eliminate the oppressors and to honor the champions of equality and justice.”  His text reflects, “Voting is easy and marginally useful, but it is a poor substitute for democracy, which requires direct action by concerned citizens.” The book takes stands against European and U.S. conquest and expansion, capitalists, and capitalism. It was a finalist for the National Book Award in 1981 and has been credited with yearly sales of more than 100,000 copies.

These resumes and ideologies are shared by a significant number of professors including William Ayers and Cathy Wilkerson who were Weather Underground members.  Eric Gutstein, David Michael Smith, and Jeanne Lorentzen are Marxist professors. Mara Sapon-Shevin, professor of inclusion education at Syracuse University, is a critic of gifted education. She shares the attitude of many educators by refusing to place her daughter in a gifted education program because, “I would never have wanted to raise a child who thought that she was better or smarter than other people.” Is there any wonder why our students are not excelling academically?

William Buckley said, “Freedom is in no way violated by an educational overseer’s insistence that the teacher he employs holds a given set of values.” Policies that were touted as essential to promote tolerance are now used to infiltrate colleges with anti-American staff and agendas and to silence opposing views. Since the Democrats have been doing this for the last 100 years, it is time for the Conservatives to do the same.

Tom Emmers, Republican candidate for Governor of Minnesota, was not hired by Hamline University because of his political views although Hamline University had been a religious college at one time. Ward Connolly, Carol Swain, and Mason Weaver are a few examples of conservative blacks who have been shouted down and robbed of their first amendment rights by college students who did not believe tolerance should be granted to conservative views. And Professor and author Laura Freberg was removed as department head at Cal Poly when they discovered she was a Republican. She was threatened, insulted, and intimidated with the suggestion that she would need a psychological review to remain employed. She has taken legal action.

Either Americans continue surrendering their children and tax dollars to the perpetuation of anti-American educational programs and lose their republic and their freedoms, or Americans will demand that the federal government get out of education and return funding to local governments. They must insist upon pro-American standards for all professors and curricula. It is time that college professors provide full resumes and reading lists required for their courses so students, alumni and contributors know exactly what their contributions are supporting.

  1. i just joined this site but i am having my doubts after reading the first article. if it is the position of this organization that it is the evil commies destroying american education then what a waste of everybodys time this will be. this event goes back to the secret treaty of verona and the compact with the high contracting powers of prussia and the vatican. some of the wealthiest people in america have been behind it, left and right, communist socialist/and ultra conservative. without the dialectic the agenda does not go forward. if anyone would like to read about the trivium and quadrivium approach to education then i would recommend this site. listen to the 5 hours of john taylor gatto interview also. its free. http://www.tragedyandhope.com/ kennny c.
