BECAUSE every teacher has a right to receive specific, written data about the academic progress made by each student in the subject or subjects taught by that teacher, and
BECAUSE a teacher’s success should be determined by the level of academic success achieved by students in specific subject matter taught in that teacher’s classroom, and
BECAUSE administrators and teachers must include the academic success of that teacher’s students as significant criteria of the teacher evaluation, and
BECAUSE academic success should be the focus of an educational system,
THEREFORE teacher evaluations must recognize the academic progress of their students.
